We had a ton of fun for Abe's birthday. First thing Saturday morning we went snow shoeing up at Tibble Fork. I had never gone before and wasn't sure I would enjoy it but it was actually a lot of fun. After that we went back to Abe's brother's house for pizza. Later that night we took two of our nephews to the BYU basket ball game. We had great seats about 4 rows up right behind the Cougaretts and right in front of the entire football team(Abe and the boys loved that). I was hoping to get there early enough to get seats in the cougar united section because they were giving away sweat pants to random members, but it was all full by the time we got there. Luckily I ran into the cougar united president who really likes us because I go to all the meetings and I asked him if there was any way that we could have a chance at winning some sweats even though we weren't sitting where we should and he said he would see what he could do...well he came back a minute later and asked both of us to come down onto the floor during half time. So we went down with him and he gave us each a pair of sweat pants which was awesome because he only gave away 4 pairs! So we put them on over our jeans and went down on the floor with Cosmo and did a mini fashion show on the jumbo tron, it was great! Abe was also excited because the mother of a BYU football recruit was sitting behind us and we talked to her about BYU and he thinks that he did a good job of talking her into wanting her son at BYU. After the game we took the boys home and then met some of our friends for dinner at La Casita (we recommend the Louis special.) It was a fun day.
Then on Sunday...
We had our family party to celebrate all the January birthdays. Champ is still on a high from Christmas and wanted to open all the kids birthday gifts for them. He just loves ripping the paper. After dinner with the Price family we went over to the Ford's for Abe's favorite desert; a trifle. It was really yummy! Abe usually doesn't like a lot of attention on days like his birthday but he had a lot of fun this year.

My sister is dating a BYU cheerleader...he is going to hook us up with basketball tickets. My boys will love it! I think I need to get me some of those sweats too! They look so warm and comfy!

I am so happy I found your blog!! How the heck are ya! We were in Utah in January and Justin went down to Attask to see everyone and Abe was not there. I was hoping that he came back to work there so I could get an update on how you were, so...how is everything? Did you have a good summer (even though it was forever ago!). We had our little boy and he is the best thing ever. You can see us on our blog. justinandjuliesacks.blogspot.com
