36 Weeks, Full Term!

I can't believe I made it this far! Still no babies though... I thought I would put together this slide show so you can see how I got to this huge.

Update on the momma:
I am really uncomfortable but hanging in there. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and I am hopeful that he will tell me that something is happening. I have had a lot of pains, cramps, Braxton Hicks and sleepless nights but no real contractions yet. Maybe they just really want to be the New Years babies for us.

Update on the daddy:
It was great to have Abe home for a long Christmas weekend. Plus they have lightened his load at work a bit this week and he has been able to get home at a normal time and we are loving it!

He says it has finally sunk in that we are actually going to have two babies here soon and he is starting to get more nervous but I know he will be great once they are here.

Update on the babies:
As of last week they were both weighing in somewhere around 6 pounds each which is great! They are still moving a ton and passing all of their stress tests with flying colors. Baby B has always been the one up in my ribs, making it difficult to breath, eat and wear anything snug and he has finally dropped down a little. I was very excited that I could finally wear a bra without being totally uncomfortable the whole time. Baby B has also begun getting the hiccups pretty much every time I eat. It is pretty entertaining to sit and watch my belly bounce over and over again.

Baby A is so low that I feel like one of these days he is going to just fall out. He likes to grind into my hip bones and dig at my cervix which is so much fun for me. I actually hope he is making some headway so they can finally come out. Keep digging baby A!

That's about all that's going on. We are making final preparations and trying to see family and friends while they are in town but mostly we are just waiting on pins and needles for the big day.

I have totally been slacking off on posting lately but I will try to keep it updated. Thanks for your prayers and love!

Good luck Meg in the next few days! I hope the babies come quickly and easily for you. I don't know what it's like to have 2 babies in me but I sure know about the digging in the ribs...why it was only last night that my little guy was doing the same thing :) Good luck and keep up on the posts, I can't wait to see what these little ones will look like!

My mom said, "that would be funny, if one baby was born December 31st at 11:59, and the other one at 12:01" we all thought that would be pretty cool!
