The Animals of Yellow Stone

This bison was walking right down the center of the road and refused to move! It was great to see one so close and still feel safe in the RV. They are so HUGE! It was so close to the window that we could have reached out and touched it if we were gutsy enough.

He blocked traffic for ever and he didn't seem to notice a thing.

The ranger said that it is pretty rare these days to catch a glimpse of a bear. So we were really excited to come across this one. And you might say it is a white bear but the ranger made a special effort to correct me on that "It is a Blond bear." Apparently there is a big difference...

This is a Marmot, what a cute little guy! It took a while to figure out what he was. We saw a few of them around the park.

And last but not least the rare siting of the very exotic squirrel! (Oooooooooo- Ahhhhhhhh!)
