These pictures were taken before it started pouring rain and we all got soaked. The 4th of July is always a neat experience in DC. This year all of our plans didn't exactly work out and it did rain off and on through out the night but we did see the fire works.
It was so fun having Zac and Andrew with us this year. The 4th of July isn't the same without spending time with family. We have been lucky that both years that we have been in DC we have had family come to visit us for the 4th.
It is always incredibly crowded but it is all part of the experience!

I like these pics Meg! Too bad everything was so chaotic.. like I said, a year to remember!!! Also, I feel honored that you have us listed under "family". And, why wouldn't you? We are frishters ;)
Meg...I can't believe your trauma with the ER!!! Holy cow...I feel so bad! I do have to say we missed you that night, but I am glad to hear you're ok and that everything worked out. Looks like the road trip worked out as well...and that the 4th was a blast! We miss you guys already...Ammon and Darin's birthdays are coming up and I was thinking of how we'll miss you guys hanging out, but of course you are going to have a blast in DC! And hey, what better time in life than now with no kids?!! Hope things are still going well...let us know if you need anything, and the baby should be coming soon so we'll keep you posted!
