Bottles, Diapers, Naps, and walks

Yes it is true...I got a job! I am a nanny for 2 super cute babies. I definitely have respect for mothers, it is not just a walk in the park all the time. It is fun though and I think I am going to enjoy doing this. I miss the salon but there is just not a salon out here that would compare to Platinum Studios for me. Plus by being a nanny I only work Tues-Friday and I get off by 5 everyday which is great because I always have evenings and weekends with Abe which is very important to me. So here are the little ones I care for.

This is Alex. He is 4 months old and has tons of energy. As you can see he is turning into quite the little tank. He is growing so fast, every week he seems bigger than the week before.

This is the family dog Tubbs. He keeps me company when Alex is down for a nap. He is a great lovable dog that is usually really well trained. Except for when I accidentally let him out and he ran away, but we won't get into that. Let's just say I was panicked for about 15 min looking for him. That was the last thing I wanted to do in my first month of working for them was to loose their dog! You can tell by this picture that he has a mischievious side, he was probably plotting out his escape.

They have an amazing view in the back yard. They live in a wooded area and the Occoquan River is right behind their house. This is looking from the deck down to their boat dock.

They have a great deck too. Fully equip with hot tub BBQ grill and a screened in area which I love because it is a life saver from all the bugs!
They are a great family and I love working with Alex. I am with him Tuesday through Thursday every week.

On Fridays I nanny for a darling little girl who is also 4 months old. This is Claire, she is a sweet heart. She seems so tiny compared to Alex and it is interesting to see the differences between girls and boys. This family is also great to work with. They live in Mclean which is where Abe works and is a rather ritzy area. It is fun because I can drive Abe to work and then pick him up so we have extra time together. This last Friday I went into his work and had breakfast with him there. He is always telling me about their pancakes and eggs that are so yummy. After tasting them for myself I concure with his assesment. My jobs are great and I can't wait for them to start sitting up, rolling over and crawling. This is a very exciting time to be working with them. They make such big advancements at this age. Basically I am getting great hands on training for the most important job I will ever have, and getting paid for it.
