After walking around Georgetown we walked down to Washington Harbor. It is a really fun little place. In the center are these cool water fountains and gardens and surrounding it are all kinds of cute little outside restaurants, and people can dock their boats right up the the harbor and have parties. Then we walked down along the water to see the Kennedy Center. I didn't know it but the Lion King is showing there right now, and I have always wanted to see it. I asked the box office though and all of the cheap seats are sold out...bummer. I will have to stay on top of what is coming to town from now on. From the roof of the Kennedy Center there is a great view of Georgetown and the Water Gate Hotel which is right next door. There is just so much history here!
