So I haven't done a post in a while so I thought I would do a quick update. I don't have any pictures downloaded yet but I will post those soon.
The first big news we have is that we are moving yet again. This time we aren't moving very far though. Abe's commute to work is just way too long from where we live right now so we are moving to Reston VA which is a lot closer to Freddie Mac. We found a really cute condo in a nice area so we are way excited about it. We will be moving this next weekend. I will post pics of our new place once we get settled in.
Because of this move I also had to say good bye to the two families I currently nanny for because my commute would be too long if I continued to work for them. I am really going to miss those two babies a ton! They are so sweet and I was really becoming attached to them. On the bright side I did find a new family to nanny for. They have an adorable 4 month old baby girl named Fiona, and I am so excited to be her nanny. The best part is that they live right by our new condo so I won't have any kind of a commute to work anymore. I will start right after the Holidays.
My friend Sarah and I saw Kristen Stewart (Bella in the new Twilight movie) in the mall while she was being mobbed by hundreds of screaming teeny bobbers. It was seriously funny. Sarah got a picture of it, I will have to have her send it to me so I can post it. I finally read "The Host", I thought it was good. Parts of it were a little cheesey for me but all in all I liked it.
My cute husband and friend Sarah threw me a surprise Birthday party last Saturday. We were getting together to watch the big BYU vs. UT game at their house and we walked in and all of our friends were there to surprise me with pizza and cake. It was a lot of fun until Max Hall gave UT the game and blew our season for us. That was kind of a downer but the party was fun.
Then yesterday on my actual birthday I had a totally crazy day. First of all let me just say that I officially hate the VA DMV. I have been trying all week to get my driver's liscence renewed in light of it expiring on my birthday. They are soooo picky about what you bring and almost everyone I spoke to was really rude. Everytime I came in they found something I had forgotten or something that I brought wasn't correct. I ended up driving to the DMV 5 times this week! Two of those times were the morning of my birthday. I spent from 9 am- 12:30 am on my brithday at the DMV or driving back and forth from my home to the DMV. I am happy to say that I finally got my VA drivers liscence. After I left the DMV I had to go straight to a doctor appointment I had at 1:00 only to hurry there and realize that I had gone to the wrong office. Apparently my doctor works in two offices and I had made the appointment at a different office which was another 20 mins away. Luckliy the office receptionist called ahead for me to let them know I was coming late and they still saw me. After that I met up with my friend Sarah and her husband to go see "Twilight". I was so excited to see this movie because I loved the books. I won't say much about it because I don't want to ruin it for anyone but I will say that it was what I expected from seeing all of the trailors. Nothing ever really compares to the book in my opinion though. Maybe New Moon will be better because they will have a bigger budget. It was super nice of my friends to take me to see it on my birthday, Thanks guys!
After the movie I went home and got Abe and we went to Best Buy to buy ourselves a new Samsung 32" flat screen TV! Happy Birthday to me. Then Sarah and Nate picked up there little boy Toby and came over and ate, my favorite, cherry chip cake with cherry frosting and ice creme with Abe and I. So even though the beggining of my birthday was stressfull it ended up being a good one. I will post pictures of everything as soon as I get a chance to. Happy Thanks giving to everone!

Happy birthday Meg! a TV is a sweet present.
Abe sounds pretty excited about the move when I talk to him. However, I think that the only time he calls me is while he is commuting. Now what am I going to do?
Don't worry about Max Hall, I know a guy who knows a guy that is going to whack him. We won't have to worry about him throwing the big game anymore.
Awww hooray and happy belated birthday Meg! Have a great holiday!
I totally know how you feel about the DMV. I, too, have been there 5 times and I still have a Utah drivers license. They are ridiculous there!
Happy Birthday! and congrats on the new job and condo!
I missed you on Thanksgiving :( Sorry you had to spend your birthday at the DMV.
Oh man, did i make that header for you last year? I need to make you a new one!
I would like Abe to know that we will be thinking of you guys when we go the BYU game on the 20th ;)
