Valentine's Day

I always forget which order the pictures upload...so this is backwards. This year for Valentines Day I made a deal with Abe. I told him he didn't need to get me flowers or take me out if he would buy me clothes and let me make my favorite "pink cake", cherry chip with cherry frosting. Yummy! So I ended the night eating this delicious cake.

We went over to the mall to buy me clothes and they were doing horse drawn carriage rides. We decided it would be fun to do so we walked over to the pick up spot and there was a huge line. We waited for a few minutes but decided it wasn't worth the wait because it was really cold, the horses stunk, and it started to rain. So I figured I would just take a picture of it and that would be good enough for me.

Earlier in the day we thought the best way to celebrate Valentine's day would be, being really lazy. So we went and rented a classic which Abe had never seen before, "Space Balls". I couldn't believe he hadn't seen it. He thought it was great. We stayed in our p.j's most of the day and watched our movie. Oh and I made a slow cooked Roast that turned out less than perfect, but after talking to my sister I know what I did wrong and next time it will be great.

And finally...Abe started out the day by running with a friend, 10 miles to the stake center where they played church ball. Me being the loving wife was the only spectator for their 7 am game.

What a guy. He won't like me bragging, but he made two 3 pointers! It was a fun and relaxing day, thanks babe!
