Cherry Blossom Festival 2010

We went into DC for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival this last Friday. It was beautiful as always, so we took a ton of pics.

These aren't cherry blossoms but we thought they were really pretty anyway.

This is the Tidal Basin. Cherry Blossom trees like these line the entire basin. It is a really pretty walk to go around the whole basin.

This is Haines Point where we parked. The street was lined on both sides with these trees. There was a cherry blossom 10 K and 5 K going on which is why there are so many runners in this picture.

Our friend Chris took this pic with his really nice camera and it turned out so well I had to post it. That is the Jefferson Memorial and the Tidal Basin behind the blossoms.

It was a beautiful day and we are thankful to be having some really great weather lately!
