We're Here and it's Suddenly Winter!

We left DC just as the weather was beginning to turn to Fall, my favorite season of the year. I have been here for one week now and it rained for the first half and lightly snowed here and there and then we woke up to this today...

I feel totally cheated out of my favorite season! That's Utah for you though...

Of course Abe was out side first thing this morning shoveling the walks and playing with my parents dog Champ in the snow. Then he decided to make the best of the snow before he starts his new job and created what he fondly refers to as "Cosmo." The sun has been out melting the snow pretty fast today but we have high hopes that Cosmo will survive until at least tomorrow or until the neighbor kids get home from school and add to it.
